Worship Services at United In Faith

All are welcome to join in Sunday worship!

We celebrate Holy Communion at all services, and everyone who walks through our doors is welcome to participate in Holy Communion.

There is a Cry Room for little children and their guardian where the service can be both seen and heard.

Regular Worship Schedule

The regular worship schedule and Sunday School classes will resume on September 18, 2016. There are two regular worship services - 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship and 10:30 a.m Praise & Worship Service.

Sunday School classes are at 9:30 a.m. between church services.

Church office hours will be Monday - Thursday 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and on Fridays 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. These office hours will resume September 12, 2016.

5th Sunday of the Month & Open Forum

Every month that there are five Sundays, the 5th Sunday will have only one service at 9:30 a.m. with an Open Forum after the service.  The type of service will alternate between a praise & worship service and a traditional service. During Open Forums, the congregation will be informed about new items that effect the entire congregation.

The next Open Forums are - January 29, 2017, April 30, 2017, July 30, 2017, October 29, 2017 and December 31, 2017.

Ash Wednesday services on March 1 will be at 11 am and 7pm (no meal provided — communion and imposition of ashes available).

United in Faith's 2017 Lenten services will be on Wednesdays: March 8th; March 15th; March 22nd; March 29th; and April 5th. Services at 11 am (lunch after) and 7 pm (dinner at 6 pm). Please sign up if able to bring a simple meal (or part of a meal).

The year 2017 marks the international observance of 500th anniversary of the Reformation. In honor of that anniversary, our midweek Lenten services will be built around Luther's Small Catechism. The Small Catechism includes a simple explanation of the Ten Commandments, the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the sacraments, which was, originally intended for use in the home as parents taught their children the faith. We will use readings from Luther 's Small Catechism each week, along with readings, prayers, and songs to center our hearts on God during Lent.

We will have some copies of the Small Catechism available at church (suggested donation $8), but we also encourage you to bring your own copy of the Small Catechism if you have it (some of you longtime Lutherans may have them in other languages or other formats).
