Worship Services at United In Faith

All are welcome to join in Sunday worship!

We celebrate Holy Communion at all services, and everyone who walks through our doors is welcome to participate in Holy Communion.

There is a Cry Room for little children and their guardian where the service can be both seen and heard.

Regular Worship Schedule

There are two regular worship services - 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship and 10:30 a.m Praise & Worship Service.

Sunday School classes are at 9:30 a.m. between church services.

Lenten Worship Schedule

Ash Wednesday - February 14, 2018

We will gather at noon and 7:00 p.m. for Communion and Imposition of Ashes (having a cross made of ashes traced on your forehead).

Ash Wednesday is the official start of the season of Lent. The gospel lesson for that day (Matthew 6) reminds us that "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Come and draw closer to God this Ash Wednesday!

Midweek Lenten Services - A review of our Affirmation of Baptism promises Midweek Lenten Services will take place Wednesdays, on February 21st, 28th, March 7th, 14th, 21st. Each week there will be two very different Lenten midweek services – one at 11:00 a.m. based around ELCA World Hunger and learning about different countries (led by Pastor Carla); one at 7:00 p.m. using Holden Evening Prayer (led by MIC student Liz).

The 11:00 a.m. service will include international-themed meals, with a short service of scripture and prayer that will help us learn what ELCA World Hunger is doing in Mexico, Tanzania, US (food stamps), India, West Bank. Join together for prayer and scripture, a global meal, and learn about how the ELCA World Hunger helps those around the world.

The 7:00 p.m. service will use Holden Evening Prayer, written by Marty Haugen as a tribute to Holden Village (a retreat center in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State). This service will be led by MIC student Liz Koerner.
