Volunteer Coordination Ministry

Volunteers are always need to enhance any activity or experience. The Volunteer Coordination Ministry is blessed with finding volunteers to make that happen.

Greetings! Thank you for coming! Good morning! Welcome to United in Faith! As you enter our doors you will be greeted hear at least one of these greetings, receive a welcoming hand-shake and be presented with a pleasant smile from one of our greeters. This ministry is responsible for making "all who enter our doors" as welcomed and comfortable as possible. If you are new to United in Faith this ministry will strive to make your visit a pleasant one. They provide a conduit for communicating the activities and programs of United in Faith with prospective members.

Thank You for coming!

Folks serving in this ministry recognize the role that friendship and conversation play in the life of the Christian community. They have a passion for fun and helping others to enjoy relationships through the church. Coordinating the Sunday morning coffee/fellowship time, providing hospitality to new member classes, our annual meeting, Lenten soup suppers, the Maundy Thursday meal and any occasion that requires friendship, conversion, fellowship and food or refreshments is typical of the numerous responsibilities that they most enthusiastically accept.

Being at home in the kitchen - cooking, cleaning or preparing -, a willingness to serve others, and having a friendly smile and kind word are traits that this ministry helps to develop in its members. If you are interested in enhancing your fellowship skills, then this is the ministry for you.

The worship service is also a prime area where many volunteers are needed. This ministry is responsible for procuring, scheduling and training greeters, ushers, communion assistants and worship assistants for each worship service. Here is a chance to participate in the worship service in a very special way.
