The Justice Ministry of United in Faith seeks to live out
the gospel of Jesus Christ, by working toward the vision of
true peace and justice that God has promised. Justice is the
manifestation of our faith.
We heed the Lord’s call through the words of Micah 6:8
to engage in justice work.
As a congregation that welcomes the diversity of all people,
justice issues come to our doorstep. Our work brings us over
doorstep and into our community.
The Justice Ministry: encourages fair trade throughout the
year; raises awareness of world and local hunger and poverty;
advocate for justice issues through offerings of letters and
lobbying; and is alert to current events that require immediate
action or advocacy.
