Justice Ministry

What does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

The Justice Ministry of United in Faith seeks to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ, by working toward the vision of true peace and justice that God has promised. Justice is the manifestation of our faith.

We heed the Lord’s call through the words of Micah 6:8 to engage in justice work.

As a congregation that welcomes the diversity of all people, justice issues come to our doorstep. Our work brings us over the

doorstep and into our community.

The Justice Ministry: encourages fair trade throughout the year; raises awareness of world and local hunger and poverty; advocate for justice issues through offerings of letters and lobbying; and is alert to current events that require immediate action or advocacy.
