We are doing very well on our fundraising toward the
Heating/Air Conditioning unit that services the (West)
Community Building. Because the unit had to be replaced
immediately, we decided to expend the monies from our savings
and to fundraise to offset those costs. The HVAC unit actually
cost us about $23,500. To date (12/6/17), including individual
donations and fundraisers, we have raised approximately
$19,700. We are almost halfway there! Our hope is that a few
more fundraisers and a few more direct donations will bring us
much closer to the total by the end of 2017.
Various ministries have coordinated fundraising efforts so
Council - Spaghetti Dinner = raised $1100
Shepherds Staff - Buona Beef = raised $200
VBS - Bake Sale = raised $200
Church Health Team - Pizza/Pie Coupon Sale = raised $600 (still

The HVAC unit is critical for the functioning of our west
building, which is used primarily for COMMUNITY organizations
like Boy & Girl Scouts, and the always-busy St. Cyprian's
Food/Clothing Pantry. Our ability to provide adequate care and
maintenance for that building is critical for our partners in
ministry who use the space. This new unit will also make the
Ministry Center building more energy and cost-efficient.
Many of you have already donated, but it is not too late to
make another donation to support this important work. Please be
sure to use an envelope labelled HVAC (there are extras at
church if you need one).
